LONGi’s proprietary Bipolar Hybrid Passivation technology increases mass production voltage up to 745mV and reduces current loss for both positive and negative electrodes. This advancement ensures improved power efficiency and overall cell performance.

TaiRay Wafer

M11 TaiRay Wafer

The new M11 rectangular TaiRay wafer provides a more uniform distribution of resistance across the cells while reducing the amount of impurities on the wafer. Their tested bending is 16% higher than that of conventional wafers. As a result, they are more resistant to breakage and less likely to break during production. Hidden cracks are reduced by approximately 87 percent. Overall, TaiRay wafers provide for greater efficiency, a consistent power flow and improved reliability.

0BB – Zero Busbar Design – Eliminating Cell Shading

For the first time ever, Zero Busbar Design has been implemented in back contact technology. 0BB eliminates eliminates busbars from design, improving power and enhancing durability by reducing mechanical stress on the cell.

Another key benefit of the 0BB Design is improved panel bifaciality. This has led to an increase of up to 75% in panel bifaciality ensuring that more light is captured through the back side of the panel, resulting in higher energy yields.

The Anti-Reflection Film used in the Hi-MO X10 solar panels reduces reflectivity by 12%, allowing panels to absorb more sunlight and maintain their high performance throughout the day.

Soft Breakdown Design

Our proprietary Shading Optimizer technology includes a soft breakdown design which allows current to bypass shaded cells, maintaining continuous energy flow and minimizing any power disruptions.

Reduced Localized Overheating

This technology drastically reduces localized overheating by up to 28% compared to conventional panels. This, in turn, results in a significant reduction in panel operating temperatures, reducing the risk of hot spots and improving panel safety and longevity.

Improved Panel Operating Temperatures

By intelligently managing the effects of shading, this technology minimizes power loss while also helping to reduce overall panel operating temperatures. With a temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C, these panels maintain high efficiency even in extreme conditions, improving performance and extending panel life.

Minimized Power Loss

Unlike conventional panels that bypass entire strings of cells, our built-in Shading Optimizer Technology reduces power loss by bypassing only the shaded cells. This ensures that the unshaded part of the panel can perform well leading to more stable and efficient power generation.

Reliability Improvements and Degradation Reduction

High Resistance TaiRay wafer

The new M11 rectangular TaiRay wafer is not only thicker than conventional wafers, its design provides 16% more resistance to mechanical stress while reducing the amount of impurities on the wafer. This increases panel efficiency and resilience and reduces the risk of microcracks.

Improved Power Temperature Coefficient

With a power temperature coefficient of -0.26%/℃, Hi-MO X10 panels maintain better power generation in high-temperature climates, enhancing reliability and energy yield.

One-Line Back Contact Welding

Our proprietary one-line back contact welding method significantly reduces cell edge stress by 26 MPa, improving panel stability and reducing the risk of microcracks.

POE Encapsulation

Enhanced POE encapsulation technology provides Hi-MO X10 panels with superior protection against moisture and UV exposure, ensuring long-term durability and performance.
